About Us

Our Expertise

Our backgrounds range from Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, and Aerospace/Defense. With work on one-off devices to mass produced consumables as well as everything in between. Many of our products are in the market after undergoing the necessary regulatory testing and approvals such as 501(k), De Novo, FCC, and IEC testing.Our Primary focus is on mechanical and system level design with electronics and firmware/software as support.Many of our past projects include mechanical, electromechanical, and electro-optical systems.

Breath Analyzer	Handheld and battery powered breath analyzer with a consumable using colorimetric sensors
Immunochemistry Instrument	Desktop and portable with accompanying microfluidic consumable cartridge. Handles fully automated sample to answer testing using an internal custom fluorescent microscope
Molecular Instrument	Desktop Device with microfluidic consumable for high speed and high multiplex PCR assay. Sample preparation and bespoke fluorescent optics with simultaneous reading of multiple wavelengths
Smart Surgical Instrument	IMU powered consumable handheld to help with placement of implants during orthopedic surgery.
Automated Sample Prep	Desktop Device which automated biological sample preparation and DNA purification

Consumer Electronics

Intelligent Balls	Embedded sensors (IMU, GPS, etc) inside various athletic balls (golf and soccer) for tracking and telemetry
Energy Harvesters	Electromechanical generators to harvest kinetic energy in applications such as light switches, door sensors, and vibration sensors.
Water Sensor	Battery free water sensor capable of communicating over BLE when triggered

BRANDON POLLACK

Brandon is a seasoned engineer with a proven track record in delivering complex, cross-disciplinary projects. His expertise spans design, prototyping, and development across a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, defense, medical devices, and consumer electronics. Holding dual bachelor's degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science from San Diego State University, he furthered his education with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
